I write music for film and TV that enhances the story and emotion onscreen and helps turn your creative vision into a reality. No matter the style, genre, or project scale, I’ll work closely with you to create a unique and memorable score.

Mood
I carefully craft the music to match the mood of the scene, according to your creative vision for the project.
Style
Is your film a sci-fi adventure? A modern drama? A mystery thriller? My music will reflect the period and setting of your story to elevate the audience’s immersion.
Balance
In any film, the story always comes before the music. I make sure that my music always fits around dialogue and sound effects and never distracts from onscreen action.
The Process
How would we work together?
Every collaboration I do with a filmmaker goes something like this:
- We meet, online or in person, and you tell me your vision for the film, the music, everything. I love to hear any and all ideas you have for the music, even if you don’t totally know how to express them. I’ll provide some suggestions and ideas of my own, and try to narrow down your vision a bit more.
- We do a spotting session: basically, we sit and watch the picture-locked video edit together, and we go through every musical entrance and exit, the key points you want to emphasize through the music, and any other details you want to tell me.
- After that, I’ll send you demo tracks and drafts for different scenes, you respond and tell me what you like and what you don’t, and I’ll revise my work.
Most importantly, I know that the film is your project and that frequent communication is key to producing something we’re both proud of in the end.

FAQ
My project doesn’t have much of a budget for music. Would you still be interested in writing music for it?
Please reach out to me! If you send me the details of your project, your exact budget, and your timeline, we might be able to work out something. I’m open to supporting indie, student, and lower-budget films when the timeline and creative direction fit well. Send me a message here.
What stage of the project should I bring you in?
As soon as you can! While I won’t start actively working on any draft material until the picture lock edit, it’s beneficial to be able to hear your ideas early on. That way, I can be creating demos and getting the style just right up until the picture lock. This makes the whole scoring process go a lot smoother.
If you’re already in the post-production stage, that’s fine too! Send me the details of your project and we can start ASAP.
What materials do you need from me to get started?
I’ll need:
- A picture-locked edit of your project
- Budget and timeline details (can be approximate to start)
- Your vision for the style and feel of the music
Don’t worry if you don’t have all of those things yet. Send me a message and we can start discussing the details of the project and figure things out as we go. Don’t wait!
Can you match a specific genre or reference track I have in mind?
Absolutely. I’ve written music in a wide range of styles and if you have a specific reference for how you want the score to sound, that helps me narrow it down a lot.
What delivery formats do you provide?

Are your deliverables good enough quality to use in the final cut?
Absolutely. I use industry-leading virtual sampled instruments, which are commonly used in film and television. These instruments are known for their realism and depth, and it is genuinely difficult to tell them apart from real live instruments.

Do you use AI in your music?
Nope. Using AI in music takes away the soul and humanity from the art, and leaves the audience feeling emotionally manipulated and uncomfortable. You won’t find any piece of AI-generated content in my music.
How do credits and ownership work?
Contract details will vary widely from project to project. Please contact me with your project details and we can decide on a contract we’re both happy with.
